Philosophy

It is Destiny's belief that through intervention people can and do recover from mental illness. Studies have shown that individuals recover or significantly improve when provided the appropriate treatment and support system. We believe, that individuals recovering from mental health challenges are able to live and work in the community, enjoy active social lives, attend school, practice their faith, maintain a healthy lifestyle while managing their own illness with the supports they may need.

Mission

Destiny's mission is to advance the availability and practice of mental health services, and to provide recovery oriented education and treatment to individuals with psychiatric disabilities so that they can have access to the support and services they need.

Goals

Destiny's goal is to reduce the number of hospitalizations, homelessness and death caused by mental illness, and to improve the quality of life for individuals living with mental health disabilities through person-centered education and treatment services.

Destiny provides the community with a diverse staff, qualified for the position and intervention that reflects the needs of the population served; types of services offered; description of the service and the number of individuals each direct service staff will serve.

These highly qualified professionals hold degrees, licenses and certifications in the human service field.
